MillenWorks is a leading developer of MR dampers for severe off-road applications. Shaft forces and velocities under these conditions can be orders of magnitude greater than for on-road applications, creating unique challenges for maintaining proper fluid flow and adequate heat dissipation. MillenWorks has developed numerous solutions that overcome these challenges.

Similar to MR dampers, MillenWorks servovalve dampers replicate the benefits of a fully active suspension without the associated cost, complexity, power usage, and bandwidth limitations. A Digital Signal Processor (DSP) modulates the servovalve in real time in response to instantaneous vehicle behavior.

MillenWorks' passive dampers provide superior off-road damping performance to most conventional dampers and are ideal for applications where the cost or complexity of a semi-active suspension system is not warranted. Features include internal bypass valves and hydraulic bump stops that provide enhanced position sensitivity without the packaging and durability compromises of external bypass tubes.
