ALL WHEEL DRIVE (AWD)/FOUR WHEEL DRIVE (4WD) MillenWorks has developed numerous high performance AWD/4WD systems for on and off-road applications. These have utilized both custom and off-the-shelf transmissions, transfer cases, differentials, and geared hubs. Each system was application tuned for optimal performance. This included gear selection through modeling and simulation as well as tuning differential and transfer case torque split characteristics. |

ELECTRIC/HYBRID ELECTRIC MillenWorks' has been developing hybrid electric vehicles for nearly 15 years. Utilizing proprietary simulation models and extensive ground vehicle experience, MillenWorks creates specifications for each drive system and sources motors and controllers from industry partners for integration into new or existing vehicles. Custom interface controllers allow MillenWorks to fine tune each drive system for optimal performance. |

DIFFERENTIAL DRIVE Differential drive, also known as skid steer, is the ability to reverse drive direction from one side of a vehicle to the other allowing the vehicle to pivot about its center. This feature is inherent with hub-mounted electric or hydrualic traction motors. For applications with a unitary prime mover and a mechanical drive system, MillenWorks has developed fully mechanical differential drive systems. |
