MillenWorks is currently seeking two Mechanical Engineers. One Mechanical Engineer with 2-5 years direct engineering work experience and another Mechanical Engineer with 5-10 years direct engineering experience and leadership roles. The ideal candidate will be a generalist with a broad skill set obtained from experience as follows:

• US Citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field required
• Minimum 2-10 years of direct experience engineering experience required
• Proficiency in using office equipment and basic software programs including but not limited to Windows 2000 and Microsoft Office applications required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and high level of comfort in working with working in team environments required
• Strong multi-tasking ability and comfort level in working in fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with production, engineering and manufacturing staff required
• Experience in prototype manufacturing techniques desired

• Masters in Mechanical Engineering or related field is highly preferred
• Previous Society of Automotive Engineer (SAE) experience a huge plus
• Vehicle suspension design experience
• Experience with power train component design (gearboxes, differentials, and transmissions), chassis design (tube frame, monocoque) and armoring technologies
• Matlab/Simulink experience
• Experience with vehicle dynamics analysis
• Knowledge of prototype manufacturing techniques
• Program management/Project Engineer skills and/or experience
