MillenWorks is actively seeking a Contract Manager/Risk Manager with a minimum of 5 years direct work experience with government contracts including contracts management, proposal writing and contract negotiation. The ideal candidate will employ proficient skills in order to execute the essential responsibilities of this position which are:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
• U.S. Citizenship
• Experience preparing government and commercial proposals including but not limited to reviewing, writing, risk assessment, costing and determining acceptability of term and conditions
• Intimate knowledge of FAR, DFAR and a working knowledge of ITAR compliance, registration and agreement requirements
• Experience with FFP, FPIF, FPAF, Cost, T & M and other types of contracts
• Experience working with Program Managers on contract fulfillment
• A positive attitude, excellent communication and writing skills, strong multitasking ability, strong organizational skills and an interest in learning new skills and technologies are mandatory
• Ability to handle concurrent fast-paced projects with minimal direction
• Ability to communicate complex technical and managerial issues to a variety of audiences including presentations to large groups
• Ability to negotiate NDA's and contracts for price, terms and conditions
• Ability to negotiate strategic teaming agreements with 3rd parties
• Provide contract analysis and recommendations regarding indemnification, insurance, and risk issues on contracts
• Applicants must have the ability to handle concurrent projects, be an aggressive self-starter requiring minimal direction, and be willing to jump in and do whatever is required to make a project a success
• Moderate technical background

• Experience working with DCAA/DCMA
• Program management skills including critical path scheduling, resource management, risk management, decision making, problem solving and customer expectation management
• Experience in R&D or prototyping environment
• Previous defense, automotive or entertainment industry experience
• Law degree or heavy legal background
• Business degree
• Existing DoD security clearance
• Earned Value Management System (EVMS) concepts for cost, schedule and risk management knowledge or training
• Intellectual Property experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project
